Yves the Caterer is an NPC featured in The Sims: House Party that can be hired for parties or just when the player wants him over to help clean the house, refill food tables and the punch bowl. He charges §350 for his visit, and will leave around midnight, or when the player dismisses him. Anyone can hire him, even children.
Yves will refill buffet tables and punch bowls free of additional charge, and will refill them even when they are not fully depleted. When he is dismissed, he will clean up before leaving. When there is nothing for him to do, he will converse with other party guests.
If Yves is hired to a house that does not have either a buffet table or punch bowl, he will grumble angrily, fine the player §25 for his inconvenience, and then leave.
Yves' outfit resembles a chef's outfit, white coat, black and white squared pants with black shoes, and the big white hat. In most language versions, his name is Yves. One could even assume he's Yves Jacquet from Bluewater Village.
