Yves Jacquet (or Xavier Jacquet in the UK version) is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Bluewater Village, the shopping district shipped with The Sims 2: Open for Business. He was the son of Jerome and Suzanne Jacquet, the husband of Denise Jacquet, and the father of Gilbert Jacquet. Yves wears a chef's hat and apron. It is believed that he owned J'Adore Bakery, and passed it on to his son.
It is presumed that Yves died recently, as the bakery's stock includes cheesecake and Baked Alaska, which neither Denise nor Gilbert have the skill to make. However examining his character data with SimPE shows that Yves has no skill points, or talent badges. Denise and Gilbert do not have memories of his death. If Denise initiates any romantic interactions with another Sim, she will receive a memory for a cheating spouse, as if Yves is alive.
Like most pre-made deceased Sims, he has no personality points, or skills. Yves is however completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. He has the hidden Power aspiration, which is very common among pre-made deceased Bluewater Village Sims. When editing in SimPE, Yves' zodiac sign is not recognized. Also while he is recognized by the game as an adult, he has the appearance of an elder.
Strangely when viewing Yves' SimDNA in SimPE, he has grey hair genetics. This is unusual since grey hair is normally not reflected in SimDNA. He has no true hair genetics. According to Yves' age data in SimPE, he had 29 days left in the adult life stage when he died. He uses the 2nd Maxis face template in Create a Sim, except the eyes are smaller.
