World Sunset Valley

Yumi Sekemoto is a pre-created elder Sim, who lives in Sunset Valley, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 3. She is the mother of Leighton Sekemoto, and the grandmother of Sam Sekemoto. At the start of the game, she is living with her son to help him raise his toddler, Sam. Her husband is unknown. At the start of the game she is unemployed. She may be of Japanese descent due to her name.

Yumi has the same Lifetime Wish as her son. If the player edits her in Create a Sim and changes her to an adult, the player will find out that she used to have brown hair. When her family is first played, Yumi is on her 3rd day as an elder. She is good friends with her grandson and just friends with her own son.

Yumi's eyes are in a very dark hue of green[1], but due to the way the eyes are textured, they appear completely black in-game.
