A Wish is a request from a Sim in The Sims 3. There is a small selection that keep Sims happy as well as working towards some short and long-term goals and rewards; not similar to the Wants system in The Sims 2. Wishes come from nowhere and everywhere, based on a Sims’ traits, their job, their skills, their friends or coworkers, where they are in town, or what they might be doing. Players can promise to help their Sims with a wish or throw it away or lie.
