Onomatology

Willow Creek is a world, set to debut in The Sims 4.[1] Its design is inspired by New Orleans. Worlds in The Sims 4 differ from neighborhoods in earlier games, in that each world has its own neighborhoods within it.[2]

Willow Creek consists of six neighborhoods. Five neighborhoods have up to five residential and community lots each, while the sixth neighborhood is a large community park. Only one neighborhood is loaded at a time, and only one lot within each neighborhood is considered "active" at a time, though public spaces within a loaded neighborhood are always loaded. Moving between neighborhoods, or between lots in the same neighborhood, triggers a loading screen.[3]

Neighborhoods

  • Magnolia Blossom Park - A large park lot consisting of a small building, a children's playground, a long river entering the lot twice, Fishing spot, Barbeque spot and includes many trees, plants and rocks to be used as collectables.

Families in Willow Creek

Among the families returning are the longtime favorites of the Sims series, the Goth family. With the Sims 4 being in a alternate universe, the Goth family are all together with Mortimer Goth and Bella Goth together as a married couple along with their teenage daughter, Cassandra Goth, and their youngest child, Alexander Goth.
