Wild birds are NPCanimals that were added to The Sims series in The Sims 4: Cottage Living. These birds can be found near special trees around the neighborhoods Old New Henford and The Bramblewood within the world of Henford-on-Bagley. Sims can approach the trees and they can be interacted with by socializing or singing to the birds as well as giving gifts; gifting to birds, like wild rabbits, has a cooldown so befriending with gifts can be a slow process.

Flock of Wild Birds
A flock of wild birds fluttered through the forest to make this their home. They are
amenable to receiving gifts and may offer gifts in return. They are happy to devour plant-eating insects or sing to Oversized Crops as a favor to their friends. They are majestic little creatures. (But really hard to tell apart as individuals!)
Once friends with birds, Sims can be able to purchase their own Flock of Wild Birds tree for their lot which once befriended can help out with the gardening by eating any bugs and insects (excluding bees from Seasons) by swooping around the plant. Wild birds may poop on Sims if they dislike them.
