The Sims 3: Supernatural The Sims 4: Werewolves

Werewolf packs are social groups of werewolves who have a community and do activities together which was introduced in The Sims 3: Supernatural and The Sims 4: Werewolves.

The Sims 3: Supernatural[]

In The Sims 3: Supernatural, werewolves who are in a group together have the option to hunt as a pack for collectibles in the open world. The "Alpha Wolf" lifetime reward can be acquired by werewolves for 20,000 lifetime happiness, which grants the ability to convert others and make terrifying howls.

The Sims 4: Werewolves[]

Werewolf Pack Options
Wildfangs Pack Description

In The Sims 4: Werewolves, werewolves can join a pack by confronting members in Moonwood Mill, at certain locations Sims can find the werewolf packs: The Moonwood Collective and The Wildfangs. Each pack has their own unique values which Sims must uphold to maintain their unique perks from the packs.

Werewolves can join a pack by acting out a 3 out of 6 trials to the leader of the pack. Once done the Sim can ask to join the chosen pack, and when joining they will start at the lowest rank; Omega. Within the pack Sims can uphold their pack's values to gain experience and eventually become a Beta rank to gain more benefits within the pack. The further ranks of the packs are Delta, Beta, and finally Alpha. Werewolves in the pack can challenge the alpha of the pack to take the title from any rank.

Going against or not actively fulfilling a pack's values may get your Sim disciplined by the members and possibly placed on pack probation. While on pack probation, a Sim cannot participate in certain pack activities such as contributing pack resources or using hangout facilities until they start to uphold the pack values again. Remaining on pack probation for an extended period will result in the pack leader requesting to see the Sim for disciplinary action, and a penalty in pack rank.

The Moonwood Collective[]

Moonwood Collective Icon

The Moonwood Collective is a dignified group of Werewolves, whose mission embodies the union of lycanthropy and philanthropy.

The Moonwood Collectives are a pack devoted to participation, diplomacy, and self-sufficiency. The default leader of the pack is Kristopher Volkov, and their hangout is located at a large tree with ornaments attached to the branches in the world of Moonwood Mill.

Values[]

Pack Participation[]

Contribute to the pack and help out packmates! Maintain good relationships with your packmates, give plenty of Packmate Gifts, and contribute to pack resources at the hangout.

Diplomacy[]

Be a good representative for all Werewolves! Be friendly and welcoming towards non-Werewolves while in Beast Form, have friendly discussions about Werewolves, exercise Werewolf Empathy, Diplomacy, and the Will to Resist, and maybe even bridge the gap and get through to Greg.

Don't feed into the negative stereotypes of Werewolves! Avoid being mean to non-Werewolf Sims while in Beast Form. That includes picking fights with them or scaring them with your Ferocity or Vicious Howling.

Self-Sufficiency[]

Provide for yourself, and the future of the pack! Acquire your own food through fishing, gardening, or Werewolf Hunting, and cook some excellent meals. Contribute some of the harvests or finished food to the pack resources.

Avoid public displays of beastly gluttony! We understand it can be difficult, but try not to Devour things in sight of non-Werewolves.

The Wildfangs[]

Expand and Explore[]

Make the world your playground and expand the reach of the pack! Explore the Moonwood Mill Underground, travel to remote or hard-to-reach locales, Mark your Territory, and meet non-Werewolf Sims that have something... different about them.

Self-improvement[]

Improve yourself! Redefine what it means to be a strong Werewolf all-around! Get fit and Spar with packmates, level up to higher tiers of Werewolf, read Werewolf books from around Moonwood Mill, unlock your Dormant Abilities, and maybe even Provoke Greg for the ultimate challenging fight.

Trivia[]

  • In The Sims 4: Werewolves, werewolf pack ranks go in succession of Omega, Delta, Beta, and Alpha. This is a reference to an infamous study theorizing about behavioral patterns in wild wolves; in which packs of wolves would develop a hierarchy of Alphas and Betas, with Omegas being a lone wolf. Despite being disproven by many researchers, including the researcher who did the study, the idea of Alphas, Betas, and Omegas has become a trope within wolf-related (also synchronously with werewolves) literature and media.
