- Not to be confused with Viejo family.
The Viejo household is one of the pre-made families in Riverblossom Hills that came with the Seasons expansion pack. The family includes elder friends Catherine Viejo and Betty Goldstein who were friends with Andrew's mother.
The house, in which household lives in, uses some building cheats.[1]
Catherine and Betty may be parodies of characters from the popular 1980's sitcom The Golden Girls.
Onomatology
- Viejo: "Old" (for male) in Spanish.
- Martin: Latin Mārtīnus (“of or like Mars” or “little Mars”), Mārs, Mārtis + -īnus (diminutive suffix). Also of Middle English origin for someone who lived near a mere.
- Goldstein: German surname directly translated as "Golden Rock".

- ↑ The game developer utilizes the building cheats 'boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false' and 'moveObjects on' to position the column over the railing, creating the illusion of a porch railing that isn't actually available in the game. This wouldn't be possible in regular gameplay without cheats. Fence columns were officially released in the Mansion & Garden stuff pack which came after the Seasons expansion pack.
