A video game, in The Sims series, is a game that Sims can play on various electronic devices, such as game consoles, computers, arcade machines, smartphones, and tablets. In The Sims 2 and later, there are a number of distinct video games available for Sims to play. Some of these games are not owned by the Sims by default and must be purchased from a store,[TS2] or by leveling up in the video gaming skill.[TS4] A single copy of a video game will work on any device capable of playing video games; there is no distinction made between "console games," "computer/PC games," or "mobile games."

List of video games

The Sims 2

Base game

Freetime expansion pack

The Sims 3

The Sims 4

  • The Sims Forever (default on computers)
  • Blic-Block (default on computers)
  • Incredible Sports
  • My Sims Go!
  • The R.E.F.U.G.E.

Notes

  1. There is a bug where after purchasing another game, the option to play SSX 3 might not appear. This can easily be fixed by purchasing another game console or computer (which can even be sold back for only the sole purpose of remedying the issue).
