The vet clinic is a lot type and a business introduced in The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs. They are places where pet owners can take their pets to be treated by vets.
Vet clinics make their first and only appearance so far in The Sims 4: Cats and Dogs. There is only one preset vet clinic that exists in the world, Brindleton Pawspital, found in the Sable Square in Brindleton Bay. Other vet clinics must be built by the player or added via the Gallery, if they want multiple clinics. When a Sim enters the lot, it will have randomized NPCs as vets. However, when a Sim who owns a vet clinic enters it, they can take full control over many aspects of running it.

Owning a vet clinic[]
Once a Sim is running a vet clinic, they can customize a variety of things such as the markup price, how much to spend on advertisement, and what staff uniforms should look like. Clinic owners can hire staff to help them take care of patients, fix broken equipment, and/or keep the building clean. At first, the clinic can only have one employee but, but vet clinic perks can be used to allow for up to three employees.

Pet exams
While the clinic is open, Sims and their pets will enter the building and make an appointment at a check-in podium, as long as its allowing new customers. A vet can then greet the patient (the pet) and take them to an examination table. Once the patient is on the table, a vet can administer various treatments and perform examinations to discover what symptoms a pet is experiencing. As symptoms are uncovered, a vet will learn which treatments won't work, until they're finally able to make a diagnosis and know exactly which one will work. Some illnesses require patients to be moved to a surgery machine for treatment. Once the patient is cured, the vet will briefly talk with the owner to charge them for the service.

Statistics panel after every work session.
Customer satisfaction[]
A new vet clinic starts out with a rating of only 1 out of 5 stars. To earn more money and take on more severe cases, this rating can be raised by ensuring customers leave satisfied with their service. Once a customer has checked-in their pet, a green star with the number 3 will appear above their head, indicating their level of satisfaction. Things such as long wait times, attacks by other pets, and dirty environments will lower their satisfaction, while good decor, fast service, and staff members performing friendly interactions with them and their pet will help raise it.

Employees panel.
Employees[]
Just like in Dine Out restaurants, employees play a big part in how a busy vet runs. They allow vet owners to run vets from home. Vet owners can also pay for training employee skills, set responsibilities to include cleaning or treating patiens, ordering them to craft items on the vet table.
Vet staff have 3 skills to progress towards - Veterinarian, Charisma, Handiness.
Perks[]
In addition to money, curing pets will earn a vet clinic perk points to spend on vet perks. Employees do not generate perk points.
