A vending machine is an object found in The Sims website, The Sims 2: Apartment Life, and The Sims 3: University Life.

SimCity disasters have never been as tasteful as they are when enjoying one for breakfast or a light lunch. A close look at the ingredients reveals such items as “Tornado Essence” and “Molten Volcanic Rock Powder”, which are sure to kick your day into high gear. The Sims did not ship with a vending machine in the base game or any of its expansion packs, but a vending machine by the name Disaster Fizz Automated Vendor was available at the official website. Sims can purchase drinks from the machine, which will provide a small Energy boost while simultaneously decreasing Bladder. If the Sim has a low Neat score, they will burp loudly after drinking.

The Sims 2: Apartment Life

The Sims 2: Apartment Life introduced two vending machines which could be placed on both residential and community lots.

Vending machines are included in The Sims 3: University Life which could be placed on both residential and community lots. All purchase of sodas and candies are free. Unlike the vending machines from the previous games, vending machines in this game can kill Sims, by letting Sims slamming the vending machine several times and it will fall on top of them, much similar to the murphy bed
