Thanks :)

Hey, thank you for deleting that "blocked for the rest of your life" thing from my talk page. It was a bit scary actually. --Breira Talk 17:38, August 16, 2014 (UTC)

RE: Welcome Bot for new IP/ new users

Yes, apparently the bot is working for newly registered users (though quite oddly it sometimes edits under the username of the administrator that most recently edited the wiki, which is why sometimes my contributions show that I welcomed a user at 3am EST, when I am asleep, so I am very baffled at this), but it's still not working for unregistered users. I have no idea what Wikia just did here. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 18:45, August 24, 2014 (UTC)

RE: Human vs Sim

I think so, yes. {{Sim1}} and {{Sim2}} were already updated, I'm guessing it was a simple oversight. Just be sure to check a few pages with {{Sim3}} to make sure the template is working right. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 22:02, August 24, 2014 (UTC)

Peng Kao's Blog

Hey Icemandeaf, there's this blog created by a user named Peng Kao that doesn't appear to have anything to do with Sims. I was wondering if it should be deleted. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 07:08, August 30, 2014 (UTC)

While there isn't anything offensive about that blog post, I'd say that it's probably spam. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 07:16, August 30, 2014 (UTC)

Blocking sockpuppets

I just thought I'd mention this in case you didn't know. When an admin blocks a sockpuppet account, they disable the user's ability to edit their talk page, since there's no chance that they'll ever be allowed to return using a sockpuppet account. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 02:38, August 31, 2014 (UTC)

Congrats K6ka Icemandeaf! You are the Featured Editor for September 2014! I've added the template to your userpage which you are free to move/remove. Once again, congratulations! -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 10:33, September 3, 2014 (UTC)

Oooh... this looks as awkward as looking up to a birthday banner and seeing "Happy birthday girl boy!" How embarrassing... anyways, congratulations.... Icemandeaf! --k6ka (talk | contribs) 11:30, September 3, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for the honor. Including being named after a great guy. ;-) Icemandeaf (talk) 14:00, September 3, 2014 (UTC)

Well I'm glad that you didn't think of my "minor" error as something like someone who drinks 40 mugs of coffee in the morning and jitters like a 9.0 earthquake :P -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 04:14, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

Using the correct warnings

I noticed you left a standard vandalism warning on Special:Contributions/'s talk page. There are multiple warning types, each of them outlined at Template:Warning/doc. If someone does behavior that matches one of those other warnings, it's always better to use that warning instead of the default one. For instance, editing other people's fanons might be a mistake, but made in good faith. It's better to use the "fanon1" warning in order to specifically address the issue and let the user know, rather than a default "Your edits did not positively contribute to the wiki", which can confuse users (since they were acting in good faith and are probably stunned to see such a message!) and might drive away newcomers. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 17:55, September 27, 2014 (UTC)

Uncompleted request

Could you please complete this uncompleted request I made on this page, thanks! -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 19:56, September 28, 2014 (UTC)

Oh, wait, request is no longer relevant. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 19:57, September 28, 2014 (UTC)

Talk:Unborn Baby Gorden

Considering that we know that this isn't canon material, I'd suggest deleting the talk page, in terms of consistency with other fanon Sims. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 00:34, October 12, 2014 (UTC)

Also I only just realized that you left a re-direct behind when moving the page. When you want to move a page to it's correct location, be sure to make sure that the "Leave a re-direct behind" box isn't ticked, unless you wanted to leave a re-direct behind (which in this case I'm sure you didn't). As for the re-direct itself, I guess one will need to delete it. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 00:47, October 12, 2014 (UTC)

Oh thank you so much for the suggestion it helped and the pictures look better! I have a question how do you make templates, like the ones that say the sim family's names on them from, DarkSuicune2000 —Preceding unsigned comment added by DarkSuicune2000 (talkcontribs) 16:12, November 8, 2014 (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Edit warring moved to discussion

I just decided to inform a couple of other administrators about this edit warring. I'm not sure whether it was really necessary, but I felt that maybe their knowledge, and input could be of some use. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 21:23, November 19, 2014 (UTC)

Tip on deleting pages

How's it going, buddy? I know you're still otherwise new to the admin tools here, so I thought I'd give you a tip - make sure you remove the "content was: $1" bit in the delete summary when deleting pages with inappropriate content. The "content was:" bit is automatically generated by the MediaWiki software (consisting of the first few characters in wiki markup of the page being deleted) and is automatically added to the deletion summary. Normally we don't need to worry about it - however, if the page contains inappropriate content, such as profanity, personal attacks, or private information, you don't want that to appear in the delete summary, as that is publicly visible in the logs. You can just blank the delete summary and either use the ones in the drop-down menu, or enter one of your own. Thanks, and good luck out there! --I am k6ka Talk to me! I didn't add the second </blockquote> tag... looks like RTE trying to be helpful by being a hero and fixing it, but failing at the same time. (Man, we could use a bot like BracketBot) --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 23:51, January 5, 2015 (UTC)

Family tree

Hey, Icemandeaf, would it be possible if I could borrow the code of your family trees for my fanon families? I don't really want to keep updating pictures of my family trees as that is getting quite cumbersome. So it would be awesome if you could let me (and teach me if you could) how to use your family tree code. Thanks! ―The Tim Man (Infinite HistoriesGalactic CruciblesThe Sims WikiHallows MaleficentWhy I'm here in the first place) 04:45, March 14, 2015 (UTC)

Sorry to bother you, but someone went to the unicorn page and replaced several key words and sentences with "JOHN SNOW" and I don't know how to restore the original text or if that's even possible. I can't remember the text off the top of my head, either. Do you think you could help with this?
