Thanks for the update on the Register page!
I was sort of at a loss there. I'm looking to get TS3 pages up-to-date before Ambitions comes rolling in with a ton more stuff, and I've never played TS1 and barely played TS2, so I had no idea how long registers had actually been about!

Policy in british versus american spelling
Hi there, I have a question. What's this wiki's policy on british versus american spelling? I'm talking about words like armor/armour. Is there a version that you try to use over the other? Duskey 21:29, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I found The Sims Wiki:Manual of Style. I was only looking under policies. Duskey 22:13, June 12, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Hidden Traits
Actually it's okay to delete 'Hidden Traits' with a big T since I made that only a few days ago and nothing links to it. 'Hidden traits' with a small t is an old redirect and should be kept. Grats on 3k contribs. Duskey(talk)(blog) 19:12, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

I'm just feeling stupid and upset at myself. I have no idea what that thing is... I think I am the only person who was ever stupid enough to have it move in, because there is no page on it. I thought it was really a cat. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 126.96.36.199 (talk • contribs) 17:02, June 16, 2010 (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~
Hi. I left a message on A Morris' talk page about this IP but it seems as if she's offline now, and it seems as if you are online. The IP was vandalizing a few select pages, so I warned them but they didn't stop (at least not right away). The IP, whoever they are, seems to have left; they haven't edited in a few hours, but I wanted you to have a heads-up in case they came back. Thanks LostInRiverview (talk)(blog) 02:01, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Never mind, an admin named Charitwo already took care of it. LostInRiverview (talk)(blog) 02:25, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
Congrats on your new adminship! [Ѧüя◎ґ]
- I forgot that I hadn't created it yet. Good luck with your magical sysop powers! [Ѧüя◎ґ]
Dharden, can you please delete this image? It would stop any confusion over the whole Patrick Jones false image fiasco.
Jeve 06:27, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
How do you know thats false? Do you have SimPe? [Ѧüя◎ґ]
Yes I have SimPE. I have been playing since 2004, I know what I'm talking about. Jeve 06:29, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
Or you could look in SimPE yourself? Jeve 06:31, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
How is this coming along? Jeve 19:21, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
Thank you. Jeve 19:47, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
Look closley at the image, and look at the previous versions of it, and you will see it was made by the uploader. Jeve 20:13, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
Hey thanks for sorten those pictures out wen the page comes up like that its harder to edit than some of the other pages :):):)Jakeob3000 17:16, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
Hey. If you're online, can you do something about this contributor? They've been making many detrimental edits to the Carl's Sims 3 Guide page, including replacing the whole page with 'KAKA'. Thanks. LostInRiverview (talk)(blog) 21:54, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! I had already undone the edits once before, but since I don't have rollback I didn't undo them again, since I believed that they'd probably keep vandalizing the page until they were blocked or an admin warned them. LostInRiverview (talk)(blog) 22:02, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks to warning the IP who blanked my user page. --Nacho 23:08, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
Hey Dharden, I'm abit confused by the image copyright. I get that as soon as it depicts anything related to EA or The Sims, they have copyright. What about if a user draws an image and uploads it? Would it be appropriate to tag it with no license and ask the uploader to decide copyright? Also, how about screenshots of a webpage? Is that copyright to the webpage? What if the webpage depicts Sims stuff, is it EA then? Duskey(talk)(blog) 00:23, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Student Union
That's good. When I nominated the page, it was just because I didn't know what to fill it with - I figured it could be edited into something useful, but I didn't really have the ambition to do it. LostInRiverview (talk)(blog) 22:13, June 27, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry for the main page. Something different: The logo of this Wiki isn't transparent. Is that because of the background (can be made more beautiful with the #background_strip at Monaco.css) or haven't you made it transparent (yet)?
If you can't make it transparent and you want a transparent logo, I would like to do that. One problem: I can't upload the logo, because it's protected. I can upload it as File:Wiki-transparent.png, for example.

Thanks for warn me , because I didn´t know how to put an image in a template ! Thank you =) Guilherme Guerreiro 13:41, June 29, 2010 (UTC)
When I removed the template, it fixed the page (for me) because the clr template forces everything below it.
- I deleted the screenshot from the page. Can you please go and delete the file? - File:Screenshot dueling.png Thanks --LostInRiverview (talk)(blog) 23:29, June 29, 2010 (UTC)
Aspir Family Page Problems
I have some things to contribute to the Aspir family (specifically the name meanings for Jiro, Kimura, and Kumiko) but I can't seem to edit text. All that appears is the picture pixel (the puzzle piece.) Why is this so? --TetoKasane 19:02, July 1, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Could you expand on this, please?
write MV, NB, NP, the correct form is MB, NV, MP.
It´s an spanish rule (i don´t know if it´s the same for other romances languges (french, italian, portuguese, catalan and romanian)) for phonetic topics and better pronunciation for example a person who has two names like Juan Pedro same people says "Juan or Pedro" but other people mix both and says "JuaMPe" naturality change the n for a m, like the case of Sinbad in Spanish change de n for a M If you don´t understand ask me again. --Nacho 02:14, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
http://sims.wikia.com/index.php?title=User:Monster2821&diff=prev&oldid=148188. Monster removed it already, but no action against the user was taken. Duskey(talk)(blog) 11:17, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
- Kindly show him the fanon wiki and the player stories sub-pages was the best course of action, whether it belongs on the forum or not. All is taken care of then.
- While we're at it though: would it be an idea to create a page where non-admins can report vandalism? Anyone can undo it or remove it, but then we (we non-admins) have to report it on admin talk pages. I'm thinking users report it and admins then
strike-outthe text explaining the user has been warned/banned etc. It should probably be in The Sims Wiki: prefix namespace. I ran the suggestion by A morris, but I think she missed it. She's got alot on her hands on this wiki. Duskey(talk)(blog) 14:05, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
Resurrecting a sim that has a dead token in their inventory?
Sorry to bother you, but this is exactly about Cordelia Capp. See, I had Tybalt and one of my CAS sims get married and have a baby. They had a baby girl and that looked a lot like Cordelia, and so I named her "Cordelia Jr" in honor. So I decided I'd check to see if there was anything wrong with Cordelia so I could resurrect her or if she was too glitchy via Tombstone of Life and Death. She had no personality points and a glitched fitness level (skinny but it is all the way up, which both is apparently normal for the dead Capp family members). I checked her chemistry, she had no chemistry, and not all the dead Capps are like that. I checked her aspiration rewards and she had 500 and the dead Capp members usually have 1,000. So then I checked her inventory and found a blank item. I clicked it and it said "*Token - I am Dead" and so yeah I automatically figured it was a dead token. (I actually have a screenshot of this, but since I have it on document I can't save it unless I use paint and then it shrinks the image). I saw that you could delete it, but I didn't know if it was safe or not so I just let her go and the kid had memories that Cordelia died. So yeah, Can I get rid of the dead token in her inventory by deletion or is there some other way I can remove it or is it going to ruin my game if I try? And can I still resurrect her? Sorry about that long story... --TetoKasane 23:56, July 6, 2010 (UTC)
- I added that she has a dead token to the article, but I still can't figure out how to upload the image that proves she has it. --TetoKasane 00:02, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
Kaylynn vs Kathrine. What is the logical name for Kaylynn Langerak? Is it Kaylynn or Kathrine?
Do you think the logical name for Kaylynn Langerak is Kaylynn. Or do you it is Kathrine? Tamara destiny is cool. 20:20, July 9, 2010 (UTC) Tamara destiny
Re: Warning box on the WooHoo page
Oh, was that you? I agree the color should probably be toned down, I just can seem to find a hex color light enough even with a gigantic image with all kinds of hex colors. I don't agree on the wording though, the page simply describes a feature in a Teen-rated game. I think 'Warning' is abit harsh. We should continue this on the talk page. Duskey(talk)(blog) 03:49, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
- I dialled it down abit. From #CCBBFF to #CCCCDD. Check WooHoo now. I'll be sure to go over the other colors aswell. Duskey(talk)(blog) 04:00, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
How do I move a file? I sometimes spot those 'screenshot-2.jpg' files and they cause trouble when someone uploads a new one. I noticed Bleeh has done it a few times, so maybe you need to be an admin to move files, or is there a command to it I'm not seeing. Duskey(talk)(blog) 07:22, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
