Trivia sections have come under fire for containing mostly useless or unimportant information, and in many cases they do: after all, the word "trivia" means "information of little importance or value". The coals of the fire were perhaps stirred up when LostInRiverview wrote a blog titled All Trivia Must Die!, but a year later he wrote a second blog clarifying what he meant. In short: no, trivia sections are "not the greatest evil", although they are still discouraged. Basically, information in trivia sections should be merged into the body of the main article whenever possible, and if the information is useless, inaccurate, or a mere repeat of what has been said in the article, then it can be removed. Trivia sections are kept for information that is useful, but lacks a decent home in the body of the article and isn't worth removing. —k6ka🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 12:36, July 21, 2016 (UTC)
Alright thank you so much for the information, I was curious as to why there are many trivia but now that you explained this I can see. Thanks
Thank you for the message. :) Darytyg123123 (talk) 10:29, August 10, 2016 (UTC)
A signature for you
Hey Darytyg! Congratulations on reaching 1,000 edits again. I like to give you a gift, a custom signature! C.Syde helped me making the signature shorter which also looks better. If you like it and want to use it, you can go to my preferences and then copying the source into the custom signature box (make sure you have wikitext enabled). Have a nice day :)
