Welcome back :D!
Hey Bleeh! Welcome back! Howzit?
Anyway, I'm making this boxy thing for the IRC page and I would like to ask how you spell your phone nick? I know it starts with a rawr...(blank stare). Thanks! --BobNewbie talk • blog 11:35, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'm glad to be back. Haha, I honestly didn't even know the nick I use on my phone until I logged my phone in while on my laptop a few days ago, but it's rarqwrgsd. --Bleeh(talk) (blog) 15:14, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
Hi Bleeh, how are you? I´m glad to you see you again on this wiki, and happy birthday (a bit late haha). Bye.--Nacho 23:04, April 4, 2011 (UTC)
Hello there! I thought I should contact the entire admin team about this, since this is a little bit off-wiki but still, from what I and some contacted admins can see, an idea that could be beneficial for The Sims Wiki.
I am currently in the planning - almost creating - process of making an email account for The Sims Wiki. This account, while not needed extremely, could bring a large amount of positive things for the wiki.
Firstly, this is a smaller The Sims Wiki version of Special:Contact. Through this, we can send surveys to users about new features or ideas we implement. Do the users agree with a makeover of the Community Portal? Do the users want this policy to be added? What ideas do users have for the future?
Secondly, we can use this for more private, though still completely controlled, user reporting. If I see someone being rude to me and don't want to "look stupid" by reporting it to an admin, which some users do think, what do I do? I send an email through, and let an admin read it and check what's been going on. Note: This isn't a "I emailed first!" scenario, every user involved, included the sender, will be investigated.
Thirdly, and this is completely optional for users, they can "subscribe" to the newsletter. This will be where they allow us to send a monthly, if not bi-weekly, email, containing links to active votes and discussions, the Newsletter, open positions, new features, etc.
Now, I still have a lot of ideas on how to use this productively, but another reason I'm contacting all admins is to sort out something. I know that I may not be completely trusted by all of the admins to handle this alone so I am going to ask all admins who wish to join the project to say so on my talk page, and I will send the password to you once the email account is activated. Currently, I prefer as little users managing this account as possible, due to problems that may arise if all admins had access to the same account. I would appreciate only bureaucrats requesting the password if they like, but I still encourage admins to request it if they wish.
Please note that this account will not use my, or any other user's real account password, as that would be pretty dumb to hand out on a silver plate.
I hope you all read this and think about ideas and or reasons to oppose it.
Have a nice day further.
- There is already one, Duskey created it. A small group of administrators have the password, at the moment. --Bleeh(talk) (blog) 22:03, April 7, 2011 (UTC)
- facepalm*. Well, thanks Bleeh. I've already contacted A morris as to if we can start putting it to other uses. Have a nice day, --Zombie talk • blog 07:42, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
I ask of you a favor
I ask of you a favor. Would you possibly be able to be in charge of the Newsletter for May? I'm gonna be away for a mere while and really need help. Thanks. --Zombie talk • blog 17:14, April 9, 2011 (UTC)
- Sure, but I'll need some help, I don't really know how it works. I'll talk to you on the IRC. --Bleeh(talk) (blog) 23:12, April 9, 2011 (UTC)
Hi Bleeh, yes I changed your edit because an user change Spanish language instead Castillan and standar name is Spanish, only in Spain the language name is Castillan, but accidentally I do an old edit and deleted the Greenlandic. And other thing about there is a problem with all users babel categories here the page is in white, did you know a way to fixed? --Nacho 16:42, April 11, 2011 (UTC)
