Thanks for leaving me the message about the Copyright Images and stuff. I had no clue. I don't think I'll post pictures because I'm a little confused about the subject, but thanks anyways... jermed2001
Hello A morris, can you change the Spanish babel to Castillan.
DominixDídac 19:57, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Changes made. Text will now display "Castillan" instead of "Spanish" --a_morris (talk) 21:26, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, also can you put "CAS" instead of "ES" in the userbox?.

Request for bot task.
Hi a_morris, how have you been? I would like to request a bot task to be done, considering that Template:Snob was deleted, I think A bot could perform the removal of that template from pages who have it, thank you! --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 20:51, February 13, 2011 (UTC)
- Done. You can request bot tasks at The Sims Wiki:Todo. --a_morris (talk) 21:04, February 13, 2011 (UTC)
Major Bot Task
I wanted to make sure you got this sooner rather than later, and I'm not sure how often you check the To do, so I'll ask it here instead.
As I'm importing pages from The Sims Medieval Wiki, there are a number of things which need to be cleaned up, mostly involving categories and links. Many of the traits or fatal flaws use the same name as TS3 traits (there are two evils, for instance, Evil and Evil (The Sims Medieval)). Obviously, some redirect system should be set up in these cases, but first it's essential that any pages that link to (in this example) Evil be re-linked to the correct page (if Evil is made into a redirect page, that is). Otherwise, some other redirect system must be thought up. This is the same for Trait and Trait (The Sims Medieval) as well.
So, a bot would be useful in making sure any TS3 traits that are changed have the links connect to the correct traits, in making sure that references to TS3 traits and Medieval traits link to the correct pages, and in making sure the categories used on the pages imported are correct (most are not). In this case, The Sims Medieval Wiki used Category:Traits for Medieval Traits, while I've set up Category:Medieval Traits for traits from that game.
If there's a better way to approach this issue, please let me know. It seems like it's going to be quite a bit of work to get this organized, but oh well. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 21:39, February 19, 2011 (UTC)
- LiR, I've had some computer problems and am working off an old laptop, so I don't know if it will be able to handle bot task. I'll do some test and get back to you if it doesn't work. --a_morris (talk) 22:31, February 19, 2011 (UTC)
