Don't blank pages when tagging them for deletion
Do NOT blank a page when tagging it for deletion.
There is NO need to do so. It does not make the deletion process go faster, and in fact inhibits the deletion process by forcing the reviewing admin to check the page history to see if the page actually warrants deletion.
If you tag a page for speedy deletion, do not blank the page unless it is an attack page (criterion G10). This is the ONLY time you should blank the page and replace it with the deletion tag.
If you tag a page for regular deletion, the deletion is not immediate; a deletion discussion must be started to decide whether it actually warrants deletion. During this time, the article may be edited freely by others. Blanking the page will be considered vandalism as it inhibits the collab…
