Game | The Sims 3: Island Paradise |
Playability | Townie |
World | Isla Paradiso |
Triton King is a pre-made mermaid townie found in Isla Paradiso from The Sims 3: Island Paradise. He is single at the beginning of the game. He is also unemployed like all the other pre-made mermaids from Isla Paradiso. His tail is of a yellow-goldish shade.
He can be made playable by marrying him, or asking him to move in.
Triton has mastered the scuba diving skill, has six points in the painting skill and two points in the guitar skill. He also has mastered the windsurfing hidden skill, has nine points in the collecting hidden skill and four points in the air guitar hidden skill.
Triton King is also a possible reference to King Triton, the father of the main character, Ariel, from The Little Mermaid. It may also be a reference to Triton from Greek Mythology, the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite.
His biography states that he was used to be known as "Fish Kid". In World Adventures, when a sim dives into a Dive Well, sometimes a notification pops up saying "Fish Kid was here". Additionally, in Ambitions the Private Investigator career has a case revolving around Fish Kid, explaining that he was a child fused with a fish in an accident at the science lab. There are several other instances of this running joke throughout the game's packs, culminating in Triton supposedly being this elusive "Fish Kid."
