World | Isla Paradiso |
Triton King is a pre-made mermaid townie residing on Isla Paradiso, the world shipped with The Sims 3: Island Paradise. He is unemployed like all the other pre-made mermaids from Isla Paradiso. His tail is of a yellow-goldish shade. He can be made playable by marrying him, or befriending and asking him to move in.
Triton has mastered scuba diving, has six skill points in painting and two in guitar. He also has mastered the windsurfing hidden skill, has nine points in the collecting hidden skill and four points in the air guitar hidden skill.
Triton is a possible reference to King Triton, the father of the main character, Ariel, from The Little Mermaid. He may also be a reference to Triton from Greek Mythology, the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite.
His biography states that he used to be known as "Fish Kid". There are several other instances of this running joke throughout the game's packs through Late Night, culminating in Island Paradise with Triton supposedly being this elusive "Fish Kid."
Fish Kid[]
- Among the possible things Good and Evil Sims can be able donate towards/against on mailboxes is "Fish Kid".

- In Ambitions the private investigator career has a case ("Someone's Fishy") revolving around Fish Kid, explaining that he was a child fused with a fish in an accident at the science lab.
- Completing the case rewards the investigating Sim with an Award Ribbon.
- In Late Night one of the possible Thursday screenings at film studios is titled "Revenge of Fish Kid".
- The description for the piano skill opportunity "Pathetique Organizational Skills" mentions a conductor struggling to find a music score for "Ode to Fish Kid".
- Choosing "Ask for Advice" from a butler has an approximately 1-in-54 chance of the butler bringing up rumors that Fish Kid still lives in the sewers as of when Late Night takes place.
