Tiffany Sampson is a Tri-Var Sorority member, residing in the Tri-Var house with Brittany Upsnott and Heather Huffington. She's studying Literature in her Freshman year.

She has a crush on Castor Nova, as do her housemates. Castor does not seem to return her feelings, however she does have an admirer in the form of his frat brother Joshua Ruben, who has a crush on her, although she seems unaware of his feelings and only considers him a friend. She's a quiet bookworm, and likes to keep things calm at the sorority.

Tiffany is considered to be nicer than her other roommates, and is far less girlish than either. She says she does not like to "make waves" in the sorority, or in other words, cause trouble between the sisters. At the start of the game she is not friends with her sisters, but seems to have a positive attitude toward them.

Tiffany is easy going, and is far more concerned about good grades. The reason she goes to college is to earn a degree, rather than spring up a sorority and have many parties before graduation. Her reasons for joining the Tri-Var sorority are unknown.

Like several other Sims from Sim State University, Tiffany starts off with no gender preference. She is 55 hours away from the final exam in her first semester, when the Tri-Var sorority household is first played. Even though Tiffany's Lifetime want is to become Mad Scientist, she has no interest in Sci-Fi.
