Medieval

Domains such as 'simsmedieval.com' and 'thesimsgetmedieval.net' were purchased on May 26, 2010. Infinite Sims speculate a release of January - March 2011 if this is a new 'The Sims' title[3].

Tie-in

Medieval hasn't been mentioned together with The Sims 3 specifically and it is unknown if the rumors on 'Medieval' and 'Realm' are tied together.

Realm

SmartSims (Dutch site) has reported that a bunch of 'The Sims 3 Realm' domains has been bought. A release of this game is rumored to be March 24, 2011[4]. This date puts it close to the rumored launch of the 3rd stuff pack.

2010 EA Showcase

Attendees at the event got a sneak peek at EA taking The Sims through space and time[5] behind closed doors. The speaker mentioned he couldn't reveal more on camera as they were under an embargo (possibly referring to a Non-disclosure agreement).

The Sims 3: In the Country Fake

The Sims 3: In the Country was an "April Fools' Joke" about an expansion pack set to be released in November 2009 reported on a German gaming site about farm life.[6]. Although it was a joke, it seems to have been based off of Riverview, the downloadable farm town.

The Sims 3: Spellbound Fake

The Sims 3: Spellbound is a rumoured expansion pack for The Sims 3.[7] It looks like it takes elements from The Sims: Makin' Magic and The Sims 2: Apartment Life, the final expansion packs for The Sims and The Sims 2. On the front cover it shows a witch, a fairy, a knight, a pirate, a fire-breathing dragon (which in The Sims series has never been a Life state) and a mermaid.

It was confirmed fake on February 17, 2010. “Dan d” confessed to photoshopping the cover and then blurring it.[8]
