This is the page where formal requests for rollback rights can be filed. Rollback rights enable normal users to use a [rollback] button to quickly revert vandalism from history pages. It is particularly useful on The Sims Wiki when an admin is unavailable to take bigger action against vandals. There is no maximum number of rollback users, so if you would like to obtain rollback rights, please do not hesitate to make a request.
Qualifications
Users applying for or being nominated for rollback rights should be active or semi-active members of the wiki. Rollback candidates should have a strong history of positive contributions to the wiki, with an emphasis on the quality of those edits over the quantity of edits made. Candidates should have no recent history of blocks or negative contributions to the wiki.
Procedures
- Add your name as a subheading under the section "Current Requests" and give a concise explanation (no more than several lines) as to why you require rollback rights. Please sign your posts.
- Alternatively, another user may also nominate another eligible user for rollback rights. If this is the case, the applicant need only to say they accept the nomination.
- Even if a nomination was discussed and agreed to on IRC or Chat, the applicant should accept the nomination on this page, for the benefit of those who were not on IRC or Chat at the time, and those who do not use IRC or Chat.
- Other users may or may not have questions. There will be no section for questions if there are no questions. Voting on a rollback request is unnecessary.
- The bureaucrats will consider your request and make a decision. Please do not get too disappointed if your request is declined. You can always try again later.

I request the rollback tools because I think they are very useful to fight vandalism. I'm on this Wiki almost every day and sometimes even the whole day. I also think I gained enough experience. I joined May this year, but I learned the ropes of Wikia very fast and I know how to use this tool. Thank you for considering me, and if you don't think I'm ready for this tool, I understand that, because I have some fatal flaws, but nobody is perfect. But I think I would be a great rollbacker that would help the Wiki with fighting vandalism. --- Sims

I am requesting rollback rights because I think it will be a useful tool to help remove vandalism. Too many times, I've tried to revert vandalism only to have my edits be useless because someone else with rollback rights fixed the problem. I want to help this wiki as much as I can and I think I can help more with rollback rights. I know I've been on here such a short time, but I've made good edits in that time. - Well, normally I would mind, since this request was filed incorrectly (although I can't really put the blame on you, since it was VisualEditor that helped make our lives miserable. In the future, please file nominations and such using the old classic editor). But, looking through your contributions and talk page history, you have made amazing progress on this wiki since joining only two months ago. There are still lots to learn, but we can only do this one step at a time, and I can tell you have been willingly taking many steps to move forward instead of sitting down and complaining about tired feet.
