Page(s) for deletion: The Sims Series Java (mobile)

Outcome of discussion: After discussion, the page(s) nominated for deletion was/were deleted.

Nomination[]

It's not immediately clear what this article is about. For starters, it's poorly written. Additionally, it doesn't seem to be referring to one particular game in the series (despite the claim in the lede), but rather some of the mobile games, which already have articles on them, like The Sims 3: World Adventures (smartphone). I don't see a particular need for this article in that case, since we 1) already have articles on all of the listed games; and 2) we don't create separate articles based on what programming language a game was written in. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 23:05, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

Discussion[]

Delete While the subsections for individual games aren't entirely beyond repair, there's many baffling things about the page that makes a deletion warranted. Not only did its creator think Java and Flash were the same thing, but they also removed the Delete tag the day after it was originally added, and seemingly didn't check to see if the individual Java games had pages. This article is very poorly written, as K6ka says above. It is unclear what it is exactly about either. It has not been changed for a very long time or improved, so I will delete under "housekeeping/uncontroversial maintenance", as it seems there is no real justification for keeping this article any longer. If this action is deemed inappropriate, someone feel free to reverse it or publish a far superior replacement article. RedWizard98 (talk) 19:11, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
