Page(s) for deletion: Template:No resurrect
Any member of the wiki may participate in a deletion discussion. Comments during discussion should focus on why the article should or should not be deleted, merged, or modified. Users should explain their reasoning sufficiently. Deletion discussions are not votes; strength of argument matters more than the number of people in favor or opposed to deletion.
A useless template that is completely unused to my knowledge. A Sim that straight up doesn't exist belongs on List of minor Sims so why even keep this template around? I’m K.P.! Toss me a message if you need help! 13:37, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
- I think that this was at one point used, however a bit of digging reveals {{no character data}} which says pretty much the same thing but offers a link to a guide to resurrect them. I would normally delete based on this but I don't know if there is an actual difference between "can't be resurrected" and "has no character data"; if someone more versed in the game mechanics could offer input it would be highly appreciated. ―ฬђ (t) • (c) 07:14, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
- If a Sim can't be resurrected in-game, it is either because there is no character data, or they straight up do not exist, like in Gloria Newson's case. That is where List of minor Sims comes into play. Sims that don't exist (with exception, such as Princess Cordelia which really should be merged with Cordelia Thebe) don't deserve their own pages, and therefore this template never needs to be used.
