Attack of the Rumors Its Real. Wait, Not Yet. Many Simmers have seen one of or both trailers, one for The Sims 3: Generations and one for The Sims 3: Unleashed. A lot of points have been made as to why both could be real, but one thing is missing; official confirmation from EA. As user LostInRiverview has made a strong point of, no pages should be created till an official announcement is made from EA. "It doesn't matter. Let me reiterate - Until EA officially announces it, it's not official." Thats being said, we would like to advise users to have their minds set that both games aren't real. Yet. Then again, everything but a official announcement has been made. The trailers, while not impossible, would be insanely hard to create without access to the creation engines that EA have. ESRB have already put it on their list of rated games, and The Sims 3.com have added Generations to their list of system requirements. The trailers reveal a large variety of new things. Generations's trailer shows things like treehouses, body hair, pranks and videos, and prom nights. Unleashed's trailer shows the return of pets, along with new ones. For now, The Sims Wiki is advised to wait for a 100% official announcement from EA. Do not create a page before this happens, as it will be deleted. Thank You. Events Galore The Sims Wiki could soon be the home of two new exciting and fun events! Firstly, The Fannies. These could work in a similar manner to how The Grammy's work in real life, but, there's a twist: Its The Grammy's for fanon articles! Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, Simmers and...other Simmers, I just had a idea that made me squeal in delight. Also, I hear that admin LostinRiverview had a similar idea: The Fannies. The Sims Wiki's version of the Oscars and Grammies! It could be a yearly thing where good works of Fanon can be fully appreciated. Next, we have The Sims Wiki Mascot contest, in which users submit pictures of a Sim who can represent the wiki. TSWM Contest. A The Sims Wiki Mascot Contest. You can upload a picture of a Sim who will represent TSW for the next year! It can work the same way as featured media voting. Then, we can copy that Sim in our games, and, for example, in December, we put a picture of him in a Santa Outfit! Its just a suggestion, but if you ask me, it will surely attract new users. We ask you to add your support or ideas here[3] and here[4], or else these events may not happen. Citing Sources Guys, please remember to cite your sources, as in <ref><SOURCE HERE></ref>. This helps keep the information on the wiki more truthful, and it can really give all of us a break. For example, an unregistered contributor adds a Sim's supposed sign? How does he know? Does have the actual gameplay to show the sign? Does he have a good source? If he doesn't, than you remove the information. Why do you remove the information? Because it doesn't have a reliable source. Images are considered to be sources, but you also have to remember, images can be photoshopped, and Sims can be easily made. "That Sim could easily have been made and uploaded from SimPE by that user!" Therefore, it would be better if sources were actually typed out, not images. Horoscope: Pisces (Feb 19 - March 20) As Saturn and the Simmis constellation align, you may start to feel a little bit more grumpy and start to hate going outdoors. This can be good or bad, depending on how you use it. You can take this time to let both your artistic and loner side show, and you can use you time to grow life skills. Remember the amount of Sims who choke on streetlights yearly before going outside. Pluto may deceive you by making you think that a little water never hurt anyone. It has.
