Every month, The Sims Wiki selects a Featured Article to display on the main page of the wiki. These featured articles represent some of the most informative, well-written and interesting articles that The Sims Wiki has to offer. Community voting and nominations are used to determine which articles are featured.

A zombie-vampire-Servo hybrid in The Sims 2.

A hybrid is a Sim who has more than one life state at a time. This can be accomplished through a variety of official and unofficial means, with the most common method being to simply kill an occult Sim, resulting in a ghost hybrid.[TS2][TS3][TS4]

It is only possible to create one type of pseudo-hybrid in The Sims, a zombie-ghost, as life states are not well defined in that title, but starting with The Sims 2, all sorts of combinations can be created. Hybrids are usually very glitchy, exhibiting behavior that the developers never intended. For example, a werewolf-vampire hybrid has no fangs in The Sims 2, and a vampire-mermaid hybrid has no dark form in The Sims 4.

Featured article queue[]

The articles listed here are set to be featured in upcoming months. They are added to this list in the order that they were voted upon by the community.

Selecting new Featured Articles[]

Any user can nominate an article for Featured Article, as long as the article wasn't already featured. Users should copy and paste the following under "Current nominations" below in order to nominate an article:

{{subst:FA Nomination
|name =
|reason =
|sig = ~~~~
|time     = {{subst:#time: U |now}}

Name is the name of the article being nominated, and reason is a brief explanation of why the article should be featured. Do not change the text for sig or time.

Any user can vote for as many nominated Featured Articles as they wish. All votes need to be signed (using four tildes: ~~~~) in order to be counted, and each user may only vote for each article one time. All votes will last for two weeks. If a nomination has more support votes than oppose votes after voting, it will be placed in the Featured Article queue. Articles will be featured in the order they appear in the queue, and order in the queue will be the order of passage, unless the queue is re-arranged due to a game release or other special event.

Current nominations[]

Tricou family[]

Nominated article: Tricou family
Nomination reason: An article that is rather detailed and links to other detailed articles, both superficially and technically. Not to mention, it's an overall interesting thing in the sims.

Nominated article: Spawner
Nomination reason: Contains various Sims 3 lists with significantly detailed mathematical work put in them on a scale that I don't think have been seen on The Sims Wiki in years, thus representing the new and blooming generation of Sims Wiki editors.
