Like the main articles on The Sims Wiki, fanon pages must be of acceptable quality and contribute to the content of the Fanon namespace. There are multiple qualities which fanon can fall under.

Types of Qualities[]

Hollow pages[]

Hollow pages are pages that only include headings, sub-headings, and bio templates, with little to no actual content. Unless a {{Fanon-uc}} template is placed by the creator, these pages will be deleted on the spot.

Very Low Quality[]

Pages of this quality are not accepted on the wiki, and will be deleted unless a {{Fanon-uc}} template is added by the creator. Pages of this quality contain terrible grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and are very difficult to read and understand.

  • Procedure - Pages of this quality will be deleted on the spot. The author(s) of the page(s) will be notified beforehand, and if nothing or nothing reasonable is said, the page(s) will be deleted by an Administrator on the spot.

Low Quality[]

Pages of this quality, unlike pages of very low quality, will not be deleted on the spot. However, they will be deleted if not improved in a certain amount of time. Pages of this quality will either be somewhat bad in grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and sentence structure, or they will be very bad in only one or two aspects.

  • Procedure - Pages of low quality will be deleted after a certain period of time until it is improved. The author(s) will be notified before deletion. This can only be performed by Administrators.

Medium-High Quality[]

Pages that are of medium quality will be kept on the wiki. Pages of high quality will not only be happily accepted into the wiki, but they will have a high chance of being the Featured Fan fiction and Fanon.

  • Procedure - Pages of medium quality will be kept on the wiki, although few and minor improvements may be suggested.
  • Procedure - High quality pages will be happily accepted into the wiki, and will most likely receive positive feedback and be featured on the Fanon Portal.
