For the in-game creatures, see Servo, SimBot or Plumbot.

A bot is an automated piece of software which uses a separate account and performs trivial tasks on a wiki.

The Sims Wiki does not employ any automatic bots, but we have users with bot accounts. These bot accounts utilize bot software to perform tasks, but only when directed by a human to do so. Bots cannot autonomously edit or perform tasks.
