I love the storyline in Pleasantview. How the Pleasant family is pre-set for failure, how the Goths are ready to have a wedding - or not. I love how almost every woman in PV is in love with Don Lothario. I just love how so many Sims from The Sims 1 were linked to the Sims in Pleasantview. Pleasantview has too few people, and I like the world layout of the Sims 3. Also, Sunset Valley has more people, less romance drama, though less intense as well. However, Sunset Valley beats Pleasantview still, in my heart.--Kajune (talk) 09:50, January 14, 2014 (UTC)
i like the idea of the backstory in sunset valley (and also the potential to expand the population with the older families), but i like moving forward with the families in pleasantview. sunset valley makes a good story but it should've stayed in the past. maybe I'm just too attached to pleasantview. Sunset Valley is technically better because of the "world layout" introduced in the Sims 3. But all the Sims 3 neighbourhood stories lack the humour and fun out of the Sims 2. So I'd say Pleasantview any day! C.Syde65 (talk) 02:54, January 12, 2014 (UTC)

This was a tricky choice. I've played these two towns for years. Sunset Valley had more families and better world layout. Pleasantview great lots, Better but less families. Plus it had a very good story... StartUp (talk)
I just noticed that not many families are returning ones from The Sims and The Sims 2 in Sunset Valley. Only five out of twenty. That isn't much compared to The Sims 2, where a lot of the families returned. Joey.eyeball (talk) 02:55, January 15, 2014 (UTC)
