Our mission
The Sims Wiki (TSW abbreviated) is a wiki about The Sims series developed by EA Games and Maxis. Basically, think of it as an encyclopedia for The Sims series that anyone can contribute to. Our mission is to provide all information on The Sims series of games.
History
- The English Sims Wiki was founded on February 6, 2005 by Jamie.
- The Sims Fanon Wiki was created in Jan, 2009 as a place to host all the fanon content.
- TSW got a new logo on June 30, 2009 after a contest was held. At the same time, TSW also adopted a new skin.
- On May 17, 2010 it was decided that The Sims Wiki and The Sims Fanon Wiki would not merge. [1]
- On January 20, 2011 the community partially reversed its previous decision, and approved the creation of a Fanon Namespace.
The Sims Wiki has also been translated into many other languages.
