The Sims 4: Lovestruck is the sixteenth expansion pack for The Sims 4. It was hinted at in the official roadmap titled "Season of Love" on May 13, 2024,[1] and further information was leaked on June 12, 2024. The pack was officially announced with a trailer on the June 27, 2024.[2] It was released on July 25, 2024. It is a spiritual successor to The Sims: Hot Date, with elements of The Sims 2: Nightlife, and online dating from The Sims 3: Seasons.
Lovestruck introduces custom dates, an attraction system, online dating, romantic satisfaction, as well as a large array of new romantic interactions and a whole romance skill. Sims are able to experience extended romance gameplay with easier options to connect with Sims via the Cupid's Corner app, getting to know turn ons and turn offs, and starting versatile and customizable dates. The expansion also includes items such as sweetheart boxes, a chest for flirty costumes, a vibrating heart bed, and a new cardgame for fun or flirty needs.

World and Neighborhoods[]
The Sims 4: Lovestruck features a new world named Ciudad Enamorada. It is heavily based on Mexico City with its lushious greenery, vibrantly colorful buildings, and rich cultural arts. Ciudad Enamorada comes with 3 neighborhoods: Vista Hermosa, Plaza Mariposa, and Nuevo Corazón, it has a total of 13 lots. The city district is also home to the penthouses, it offers Sims a chance to experience the illustrious nightlife.
Romance & Attractions[]
Sims can heat up their love life with a new romance skill and develop attractions towards partners that help form and build intimate and long lasting relationships. Sims can also indulge themselves in new spots for buying flowers and special chocolate boxes to or to share. Sims can also utilize a costume trunk to add exciting scenarios to act out for entertainment.
Customizable Dating[]
Dating has been extended to allow for Sims to go on a special custom date in which players can select for all sorts of activities that the two Sims can perform on the date together as goals. This allows for Sims to progress their romantic relationships faster as well as for flexibility in all forms of activities Sims might wanna partake in together.
Cupid's Corner[]
A new app on every Sim's phone is the Cupid's Corner app, an app allowing for Sims to do online dating and find their lucky someone by adding their own profile and browsing through others. Every 12 hours the app refreshes and so players can save matches their Sims will find desirable if they don't go on a date immediately.

- The Sims 4: Lovestruck is the first expansion pack to not have a physical copy released. While some countries such as Australia and New Zealand stopped releasing physical expansion pack copies after The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle, some countries continued to release physical releases of expansion packs before ceasing physical releases at different points in time due to the decreasing sales of new physical PC games, contributed mainly by the removal of disc drives from modern desktops and laptops.
