New features[]
World and neighborhoods[]
The expansion pack includes a new world - Henford-on-Bagley. It is a rural, UK countryside-inspired world with three neighborhoods and 12 lots. The world has a rental lot in The Bramblewood, allowing Sims to vacation there.
Livestock and wild animals[]
This pack features a variety of animals that Sims can interact with. Chickens, cows and llamas can be purchased at animal accommodations like the chicken coop and animal shed. Chickens produce eggs, cows produce milk that can be changed to flavored milk by feeding the cow with certain items and llamas can be sheared for wool.
Foxes, rabbits and wild birds are roaming around the world as wild animals and Sims can build relationships with them. Befriending wild animals grants various gameplay bonuses like wild animals helping with growing harvestables or delivering gifts.
Farming Together[]
Sims can find and forage in the wild for new fresh ingredients as the lot challenge "Simple Living" makes it so ingredients are required to cook recipes, putting importance on self-sustaining farm living. Sims can now have crop fields that can grow normal and oversized crops for plentiful fruits and vegetables, Sims will also find it easier if they work together to cook their meals. Making livestocks also provide for the family for eggs and milk for food, and the wool for Sims who wanna sit back and cross stitch beautiful designs and clothes for animals.
Town Fairs and Errands[]
Sims can partake in the Henford-on-Bagley fairs that put many things to the test from best chicken to best oversized crop, interacting with the locals can help intermingle in the village's townsfolk relationships and lives. Sims can perform one off jobs called errands to help get extra work done for the town.
