The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits is the twentieth expansion pack for The Sims 4. The reveal trailer premiered on September 4, 2025 and the expansion launched on October 2, 2025.
This expansion pack introduces the ability to have getaways. It also includes a highly-customizable lot assignment called custom venue. This allows for Sims to have schedules for their activities when spending time away from home. There can also be set rules allowing for playing out competitions for Sims to partake in. Children and adults can also partake in new activities such as archery, diving, entomology, and papercraft, as well as new working out equipment such as exercise bikes and free weights. This pack also features imaginary friends, a type of occult that can only be seen by a specific child.
This expansion contains elements of The Sims: Vacation, The Sims 2: Bon Voyage, The Sims 3: World Adventures, and The Sims 3: Generations.

Kids develop traits through Formative Moments and Childhood Sentiments. Customize playgrounds, play games, and have Imaginary Friends with unique personalities. Choose from Goofball, Competitive, Creative, or Evil dolls.

Fun is for all ages. Build skills with Papercraft, Entomology. Diving. and Archery. Make Papercrafts, raise Butterflies, Trade Collectables, and go Kayaking! Spin Bikes and Free Weights keep adults active. Refresh with smoothies from the Blender.

World and Neighborhoods[]
Three thrilling new neighborhoods await you in Gibbi Point: Wanderwood Wilds is a leafy haven laced with forest trails, erupting geysers and a whisper of mystery; Crystal Valley is where sparkling rock formations ignite the imagination; and Jellyfish Junction is a waterfront wonderland with a glistening lagoon and locals who adore their jellyfish.
Custom Venues and Getaways[]
Custom venues are a new lot assignment players can build in their worlds to be assigned a schedule of events and roles to allow for all sorts of unique activities and specific hobbies from relaxation centers, competitions, and scheduled vacations. Getaways allow for Sims to customize their experience for a one time or reoccuring getaway. The existing custom venues in Gibbi Point are Camp Gibbi Gibbi, a child camping grounds, Revive and Thrive Retreat, a exercise and self care retreat, and Love Highland, a romantic competition house.
Childhood Activities[]
Children gain new interactions of playing hide and seek as well as rock, paper, scissors. A modular playground as well as new slides can be added to playgrounds for children to have endless fun. New hobbies kids can acquire to help build to acquire and progress in formative moments which grant them unique traits that better enhance their experiences later in life. Finally, imaginary friends can be formed with new playable dolls that child Sims can befriend to experience social activities and have a companionship that could result in them becoming real.
Adventurous Hobbies[]
Children and older can partake in these activities and build these skills such as archery to hone their focus and dexterity and diving for better splashes with diving boards. Another activity such as entomology which allows Sims to help better research and care for insects such as butterflies and moths which will appear in many areas. There is also papercrafting which allows Sims to construct new paper designs, maches, and cards for decoration or entertainment.
