The Sims 3 Create-A-Sim is a standalone version of The Sims 3's Create a Sim mode.[1] It is available in some countries, such as South Africa, Indonesia, Singapore, and Israel.[2][3]
Despite being a demo, its earliest known release is 8 months after the full version of the game it was a demo for (The Sims 3) was released.
This program allows the players to create Sims in a standalone CAS and share them to the Exchange. However, players are only able to use base game contents, as custom content and expansion pack contents are disabled in the program.
In December 2015, Origin offered the The Sims 3: Create a Sim demo for free. EA has never explained why they gave away the Create a Sim Demo.
