The Sims 2 Beta was an unreleased 'test' version of the The Sims 2. Although it was never physically released, it has appeared in some screenshots and video previews before the game was formally released. It featured many unused hairstyles in it, as well as unreleased neighbourhoods such as Riverside, Sedona and Waterside. It also included rain.
