The Bramblewood Icon The Bramblewood is a neighborhood in the world of Henford-on-Bagley. The history of this whimsical woodland is rich in lore. Once you get over that pure beauty of the lush forest and the waterfalls into The River Bagley, you can really start to wonder if there is something more.

It is said that the cottage at the top of the waterfall in trees was once home to Princess Cordelia. It is thought that she retreated here to the English countryside after The Great Sloth Invasion, where she wandered The Castle of Volpe (which is now ruins) and enjoyed her cottage lifestyle. The castle was originally home to ancient druids, who had ceremonies, and praised the foxes of The Bramblewood. Later, the founder of Finchwick, Lord Volpe was also said to have lived here, in the castle that is now seen as ruins in the Bramblewood.

Trivia[]

  • The name of the National Park and Lord Volpe, could be a reference to the scientific name of the fox's family, which is "Vulpes".
  • The snail's name is female in English (Sophie), while in other languages like Spanish is male (Carlos). This could be a hidden reference or joke to the fact that some snail species are hermaphrodite.
