Linda is having an affair with Rubisel Ichtaca, which he is unaware of. The family tree suggests that Chandell Scott is Tariq's daughter, exclusively. He is employed as a Corporate Drone in the Business career, and has skill points in logic, athletic, and handiness skills. At the start of the game, Tariq is friends with his wife, Linda, and daughter, Chandell. He is also friends with Ariel Walsh and Xavier Alvaro. He is acquainted with Royce Allani, and his boss in the Business career is Alfonso Alto.
At the start of the game, Tariq carries a copy of the book "A Wall Between Us." If The Sims 3: Seasons is installed, Tariq will also carry an umbrella.
