Apparently there were raccoons in Unleashed. El Bandito should be merged into this article, but I'm not really sure how best to do it. Kiwi tea 13:54, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

I'm in for the merge. It appears that Dharden is getting ready for the merge as well. Nikel Talk 15:16, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
I wanted to see how a merged article might look. I think it can be done, but that El Bandito has transwiki links might be an issue. Dharden (talk) 16:07, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
we still can put the transwiki there and notify the admin of the transwiki if we merge the article. :) Wiryawan310 16:13, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
Merge is fine by me, since the TS1 raccoon doesn't really have enough info for a page. ђ talk 22:40, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
Merge has been done. Dharden (talk) 23:46, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

DiscussionEdit

Wait, hold on a second. I thought the discussion is about the merge of El Bandito and Raccoon, not whether it's a life state or not? However, this animal life state issue has never been discussed seriously, although in the end, it has to be. We have to define "what an animal life state is" first. Nikel Talk 15:22, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

We've always in the past treated "life state" as like "species of sim". That's fairly vague, of course. But if raccoons are not life states, then neither are a lot of the other life states we've always treated as life states - most glaringly the TS2 genie, but also the skunk. Kiwi tea 15:30, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

Okay, so the official description on the life states page is a sim with a unique appearance and abilities, in which case deer and raccoons easily qualify. I'm surprised we're even having this debate. Kiwi tea 15:43, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

I have the same question before and discuss it with rose long time ago, this is the explanation "why this is a lifestate and why this isnt" Wiryawan310 15:47, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
