Basketball hoop in The Sims 3 doesn't have any visible basketballs?[]

I noticed that the Rim Rockin' Basketball Hoop in the TS3 Store doesn't have any visible basketballs when Sims shoot with them, unlike TS1 and TS2. It may just be because I have my graphics settings turned down, but is anyone else experiencing this?
