You know, I was surprised when I found that Albany's natural hair colour was blonde. I always suspected that his natural hair colour was black like his father. Feuding Capp in-lawEdit
Once Albany ran into Antonio Monty's house uninvited (Antonio had never met Albany before) and shoved Antonio. This was a big advantage because I made Antonio ring Albany up until the two of them were friends. Before they became best friends, Albany still saw Antonio as an enemy. He then went round to Antonio's house, rang the doorbell and took off. Anyone else had things like this happen before? -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:13, January 7, 2014 (UTC)
- I think that happened to me as well. It was when Stephen Tinker came to my Sim's house and shoved her, then started arguing. I have no idea why but I ended up putting a fence around the house so he couldn't come in. Joey.eyeball (talk) 18:30, March 20, 2014 (UTC)
- Stephen Tinker shoved who? And that statement kind of took me by surprise. Usually it's only Sims with four nice points or less who do those sorts of things for no good reason. Five is usually the turning point to niceness. I'm not saying I don't believe you - Sims with more nice points may occasionally do those sorts of things - but the way I see it, Sims with two or three nice points are the horrid bullies, Sims with zero or one nice point are just pure grouchy and irritating (but surprisingly less mean), and Sims with four nice points are grouchy and somewhat irritating but to a lesser extent than Sims with zero or one nice point.
- Mortimer only shoves Sims because he's angry at being spied on (naturally he doesn't understand what they're doing and why they're doing it), whereas Albany shoved Antonio because Albany was being horrid and wanted to show Antonio who was boss. For one thing Albany has only one nice point, and for another, he is feuding with four Sims at the start of the game - Patrizio, Isabella, Antonio and Bianca Monty. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 07:02, June 23, 2014 (UTC)
- @ Deskita - On second thought, I'm guessing you were right about Albany shoving Antonio because of telescope shoving. This event happened in the first draft of my gameplay where my first computer was real slow, and I killed most of the Sims in Veronaville because I didn't have time to get a good long time to play as them all, on such a slow PC.
- Bottom, Consort, Patrizio, Isabella, Beatrice, Benedick, Mercutio, Regan, Cornwall, and Goneril had already been killed (or in Patrizio's case, died from old age, and Goneril's case, died in a fire) by the time of Albany and Antonio's first encounter. Antonio was the only member of the currently active household, so he didn't count.
- And Juliette, Romeo and Hermia were still teenagers, and thus the game would not have chosen them as targets when a Sim spies using the telescope, because the Sim being spied on must be 1) playable, 2) currently living in a household, not the family bin, 3) not a member of the currently active household, and 4) an adult or elder, (or young adult, if University is installed). So naturally the game chose Albany as the Sim for Antonio to spy on.
- @ Joey.eyeball - I'm guessing Stephen Tinker was the Sim that one of your Sims spied on, because you were using a custom neighbourhood where all the Sims that were part of a sub-neighbourhood had lower NIDs than the Sims you created. In one of my recent games with Desiderata Valley, Stephen was the playable Sim with the lowest NID because I'd turned all the pre-mades playable Sims of Desiderata Valley, Pets, Weather, Exotic Destinations, Hobbies, and Magic, as well as the family bin Bluewater Village Sims into townies, so that I could focus more on the CAS Sims I'd made for the neighbourhood.
- I didn't turn any already-living-in-a-household Bluewater Village Sims into townies, and Stephen Tinker seems to be the pre-made playable Bluewater Village Sim who usually has the lowest NID, so I'm guessing that would have been the case in your game.
