Tai Lum is a pre-made playable Sim residing in Copperdale, the world shipped with The Sims 4: High School Years. He lives with his daughter, Mei Prescott (née Lum), the principal of Copperdale High School, and his two granddaughters, Molly and Amy Prescott.
Tai is an elder and has lived 118 days by the start of the game. He works as a janitor at Copperdale High School and can be seen cleaning around the school, even if given another job. When playing as him, he will not initially have a career, although one can still be selected for him. If Tai is in the current household or has died, he won't appear in the high school, and a randomly generated Sim will be the janitor instead.
Tai starts with a Fear of Death, which makes sense, given that he is an elder. He also starts out wanting to try to conquer this fear.
