A surf shop is a rabbit hole and de jure lot assignment in The Sims 3 (Wii). As of 26 July 2024, it is the only known such facility in the Sims franchise.
It serves as the work place for the Extreme Sports career, and it also offers one object for sale (A windsurf board) for §80, the same price as in Buy Mode.
To its south, it shares the western half of a fairly large beach with the Seagull Suites Hotel. North of the rabbit hole, there is a small park with a barbecue, 3 tables with chairs, and 2 trash cans.
Hang Ten refers to a common real-life surfing trick.
History[]
Before the Surf Club was built, there was a house that belonged to a married couple who were 72 years old. When the husband died of unknown reasons, the wife moved away to a retirement home. She left her grandson the deed to the house. The grandson knocked down the house and built a surf club because he loved to surf. Now he is known by everyone, and he makes a lot of money teaching people to surf.[confirmation needed]
