Steel Chef is a trait chip in The Sims 3: Into the Future. It requires level 3 or higher Bot Building skill to be built.

Turn your resident Plumbot into a world-class chef, prepared to cook any meal you can imagine and a few you can't!
- Cooking Skill is raised to maximum.
- All Cooking Recipes are immediately learned.
- Plumbot takes the initiative to cook for other Sims when they are hungry.

Player notes[]
- Although it will make large meals often, it is not able to move the meals it makes into the fridge without additional chips, nor can it clean up spoiled meals it has made without the Competent Cleaner or Sentience chips.
- It will also make large meals frequently without any regard as to whether the Sims (if any) in the household are actually hungry or not, potentially resulting in large amounts of spoiled food plates and incomplete food trays spread around.
