Social Butterfly is a social trait featured in The Sims 3: Showtime. It conflicts with the Loner and Shy traits.
Social Butterfly Sims aren’t happy unless they’re socializing, and will do just about anything to be the center of attention.
Attributes
- Your Sim will do anything to get noticed and never hesitates to join group conversations.
- Your Sim gets depressed when not socializing and may get the "It's like I'm Invisible" moodlet.
- Your Sim revels in attention and can get the "It's all about Me" moodlet.
Player Notes
- Social butterflies suffer from a very fast decay of the social motive, autonomously causing them to initiate chats, group chats or, if they have other social traits, use the socials from their other traits.
- Social butterfly force the sim to act and play like an anti-loner: not socializing for a long time randomly causes a -15 6 hour moodlet, while socializing can randomly cause a +15 12 hour moodlet.
- When the It's Like I'm Invisible moodlet appears, sad music starts playing (the same music as the social worker taking away pets/children or breaking up with a lover)
