The show business career track is found in the University expansion pack for The Sims 2. Since this track is only open to college graduates, it does not have teen/elder jobs. The career reward is Dr Vu's Automated Cosmetic Surgeon, which can be used to change a Sim's facial structure. If Apartment Life is installed, Socialites are likely to work in this career. Show business has the highest weekly pay of all careers in The Sims 2. The college majors associated with this career are drama, literature, economics, and political science.

1) Screen Test Stand-In
Although a crash-test dummy could do your job, you've at least got a foot into the glamorous door of Show Business. Do your best to stand still as irritable technicians wave light meters in your face and try to offset the terrible wages by eating all you can from the set buffet. Hawking dish soap, cell phones and fast food might not be Hamlet, but it sure is starting to bring home the bacon. Best of all, your face is starting to become familiar to a wide audience. You're making three films a year, you're deluged with scripts and you just got voted "Sexiest Man/Woman Alive" by three different tabloids.
