Shirley Lin is a pre-made playable Sim residing in Riverview, one of the worlds available for purchase from The Sims 3 Store. She is the younger sister of Roxie, but their personalities are completely different in all ways apart from stubbornness. They could not even decide how to decorate their parents' old house. Shirley wants to be a doctor because she likes to help people. She is 16 days away from becoming an adult.
Her older sister, Roxie, is her only family, as their parents aren't present in the game. Shirley is almost the exact opposite of Roxie - she has no sense of humor, whereas Roxie has a good sense of humor, she is unflirty, whereas Roxie is flirty, she is a coward, whereas Roxie is brave, she is friendly, whereas Roxie is grumpy, (although the two traits do not conflict) and she is a hopeless romantic while Roxie has commitment issues.
