The Silver Rocket Service Station is situated on the outskirts of Strangetown and it marks the starting point of The Sims 2 for PlayStation Portable. Its name derives from the silver rocket placed in front of the Curio Shoppe.
Oscar's Garage[]
Right after watching the opening cinematic, players will head to Oscar Del Fuego's Garage seeking assistance. Upon successfully chatting with him, the mechanic suggests visiting The Curio Shoppe while he tends to the car.
Curio Shoppe[]
Mambo Loa's Curio Shoppe in which Bella Goth wanders, serves as an introduction to the game's mechanics, in addition to making a wide variety of items available to the player.
Upon first entering the lot, Mambo will help establish the player's personality and aspirations through an optional reading.
Purchasable items in the Curio Shoppe[]
Finding a place to stay[]
After completing any social game with Bella, she will confess that she was abducted by aliens and wants to leave the city. If the player asks her for a place to stay, she will sell her property (Espiritu Estate) for the amount of Simoleons they currently have.
Outside[]
Outside the player will see several gasoline pumps, a sculpture of the rocket that gives its name to the place, piles of garbage, secrets and parked cars; among them, Deputy Duncan's police car.
Cell Phone[]
After completing Mambo Loa's missions, players will discover that Oscar's Garage has vanished, leaving only its foundations behind. They'll then come across a cell phone, and upon picking it up, they'll hear Doctor Dominic Newlow's voice. He will promise players a job, but only if they secure an apartment and transportation to Paradise Place first.
