Neighborhood Features[]
Senbamachi is a large town neighborhood, it has benches around for Sims to sit, vending machines, and a food stall at the town centre. Like any other neighborhood in Mt. Komorebi, it has signboards which Sims may use it to hike around the area. Senbamachi is also home to the Festival of Light, it occurs every Fridays.
Hiking[]
There are 3 hiking signboards that Sims may use it to hike around the area. Sims may meditative walk, jog to the exercise trail, hike scenic loop, hike to the temple, hike to the mountain shrine, or hike to the bamboo forest. Sim may also hike and lead other Sims together while hiking, pets can also join Sims to hike[TS4:C&D], they will get confident or embarrassed moodlet depending the activities involved.
Sims may need to prepare with some equipment as they might also encounter wildlife attacks that will make the journey uncomfortable.
Sims may also encounter various of natural phenomena that will give a positive moodlet to Sims. Sims will get a +2 happy moodlet if they encountered fireflies at night, a +2 energized moodlet if they encountered a kodama. Additionally, Sims may also encounter Forest Spirits that they can make a wish or collect them, Sims may get a positive moodlet when they make a wish, or punished with a negative moodlet when trying to collect the forest spirit. However, Sims have the chance to collect them without getting punished and keep the spirit ornament which can be placed on a wall.
The Temple[]
Sims may go to the temple manually or hike with the hiking signboard, the temple is not interactable by Sims. However, there's an ema board which Sims may view it, take picture, take selfie, or write a wish, Sims may get a +1 happy or sad moodlet after writing the wish.
Mountain Shrine[]
Sims may go to the Mountain Shrine manually or hike with the hiking signboard, Sims may view it, take picture, take selfie, or shout and listen or echo, it does not give any unique moodlet to the Sims.
Bamboo Forest[]
Sims may go to the bamboo forest manually or hike with the hiking signboard, unlike the said 2 areas, it does not have any special interaction for Sims. Sims that passed through or finished hiking at the bamboo forest will always get a +1 happy moodlet.
The Cemetery[]
The Cemetery is located between of the bamboo forest and the temple, Sims will pass by the cemetery most of the time while hiking around the trails. There are 2 interactable tombstones which Sims may view it, take picture, mourn, or place a gift.
Rock Climbing Wall[]
There's a rock climbing wall for Sims to train up their rock climbing and fitness skill, it's located at behind of western ends of the bamboo forest. Sims can attempt climb at level 3 of rock climbing skill. Sims may use the planter boxes on top of the area after climbing up.
