There are 4 dive lots shipped with Isla Paradiso. Dive Lots are first available to Sims when they reach the Scuba Diving skill of 2. Once the sim boats or swims out to above the dive lot, Sims a high enough Scuba Skill can dive down underwater to the lot. The lots are decorated with many rocks, coral and other objects. There are also gems and fish on the lot that can be caught, [[underwater caves]] to explore, and the chance to find treasure. Mermaids can also often be seen and socialized with at the various dive lots. Other game world lots do not get replaced with dive lots.

While diving, Sims only have a certain amount of air before they must return to the surface. The amount of air your Sim has depends on the Scuba Diving level. The air you have left is shown by a moodlet. Once the first moodlet that you got when you started diving is gone, you get a negative moodlet that shows that the Sim is having trouble breathing and should return to the surface.
