The Scout career is one of the career tracks from The Sims 4: Seasons, and is exclusive to children and teens. It's the first career in The Sims series without a wage and the first career that children are able to get employed in.
Even though the career itself is the same for both children and teens, it is described as an "After-School Activity" for children.
