In The Sims 4: Get to Work, Sims in the scientist career are sent to a sub-neighborhood called Science Lab during their work hours. The sub-neighborhood consists of only one lot and cannot be visited via the map. The neighborhood's aesthetics suggest that it is located near Oasis Springs.
Sims who are not employed in the scientist career track may visit the lot as "tourists" when not played with.

FutureSim Labs is the workplace for the scientist career. The lot is a three-story building with a basement that has a bunch of scientist objects; a first floor that has a huge microscope, an invention constructor and chemical analyzers; and a second floor that has a small kitchen, bathroom and a gym. There is also a huge telescope on the roof. Unlike the special lots in the Civic Center (which cannot be edited in build mode), FutureSim Labs can be edited freely in build mode while a Sim is currently in the Scientist career — without using cheats.
Neighborhood amenities[]
As the neighborhood can only be accessed by Sims working in the scientist career, there isn't a lot for Sims to do. However, there are some crystals and fossils scattered around, with a fishing spot in the oasis behind the lab. The collectibles are needed for Sims to complete objectives and rank up in their career.
Located near the highway is a picnic spot and a rock with hieroglyphic engravings. This location is very far from the actual lot and is behind where Sims visiting the lot will spawn. This area is commonly visited by NPC Sims.
